Digital Teaching Tools In-Service Training (IST)

The Digital Teaching Tools IST will train Extension agents to appropriately develop and deliver program activities using the digital teaching tools. The IST is designed for Extension agents to gain the educational and technology skills needed to deliver their program activities digitally. Some of the digital teaching tools include: 360-degree videos/virtual tours, digital field experiences, meta glasses, micro-learning videos (reels). The following topics will be taught in the IST in a series of five sessions through a combination of virtual and in-person learning: (a) adult learning and identifying your audience - virtual, (b) digital teaching tool demonstration - in person, (c) hardware and software - virtual, (d) backwards design - virtual, and (e) digital teaching tools implementation - in-person.
