In this introductory nutrient management course you will be able to:

• List the essential plant nutrients for plant growth
• Interpret a fertilizer label
• Understand fundamentals of managing pH and fertilizer level
• Perform substrate-pH and electrical conductivity (EC) tests
• Perform substrate porosity and wettability tests
• Identify and prevent pH and EC-related problems

This is an intermediate level course intended for commercial growers with some experience and training, or entry level university. 

En este curso introductorio de manejo de nutrientes, usted podrá:

• Enumerar los nutrientes esenciales para el crecimiento de las plantas
• Interpretar una etiqueta de fertilizante
• Comprender los conceptos del manejo de pH y nutrientes
• Realizar pruebas de pH y conductividad eléctrica (EC) del sustrato
• Medir la porosidad y humectabilidad del sustrato
• Identificar y prevenir problemas relacionados con pH y EC
