REGISTRATION CLOSES SEPTEMBER 15TH
This course will:
- Gain the basic concepts of communication and culture, and how they apply to Latino staff
- Learn simple horticultural Spanish with interactive oral quizzes
- Analyze the social and cultural backgrounds of Latino migrants and immigrants
- Learn and understand how Latino culture affects behavior and communication in the workplace
This course will only be taught in English. This is an intermediate level course intended for growers with some experience and training, or entry level university. It takes about 4 hours per week to complete lessons and activities.
