This course will:

• Help you understand who are the Latino/Hispanic workers
• Briefly analyze the social and cultural backgrounds of Latino migrants and immigrants
• Teach you the basic concepts of communication and culture and how they apply to the Latino workforce
• Learn and understand how Latino culture affects behavior and communication in the workplace

No Spanish will be taught in this class although some Spanish words will be provided. It will only be taught in English. This is an intermediate level course intended for growers with some experience and training, or entry level university. It takes about 4 hours per week to complete lessons and activities.
